Your next practice, found quietly. No fee. Ever.

Denali Recruiting places ophthalmologists, optometrists, administrators, technicians and coordinators with eye care practices nationwide. Many searches are never posted. Tell us where you are and where you want to be, and nothing moves without your permission.

  • Candidates never pay. The practice pays the fee.
  • Your name and employer are never shared without your OK
  • A recruiter calls you back, not an auto-responder

How it works

Four steps, and you control every one of them.

You can stop at any step. Nothing is sent to a practice, and no practice learns you are looking, until you say so.

  1. 1

    Send your résumé

Upload a CV or résumé and tell us the role, the locations you would consider and your timing. Current employer is optional.

What happens: it goes to the recruiter only. It is not posted or entered in any shared database.

  2. 2

    Confidential call

A conversation with the recruiter about what you want: practice type, subspecialty mix, surgical volume, partnership track, compensation, schedule, family considerations.

What happens: you get a straight read on the market for your role and locations.

  3. 3

    Matching practices, with your OK

When a search fits, you hear about the practice first: who the surgeons are, how the clinic runs, what the role really involves. You decide whether to be introduced.

What happens: your name goes to a practice only after you approve that specific introduction.

  4. 4

    Interviews, offer, start

Interview and site-visit scheduling, help reading the offer and contract, and a check-in after you start.

What happens: the practice pays the placement fee. You never do.

Why go through Denali

We know these practices from the inside.

Denali Recruiting is a subsidiary of Denali Creative, the marketing agency that builds websites, campaigns and staff training for ophthalmology and optometry practices. We have seen how many of these clinics actually run. That is the information you want before you interview.

Questions candidates ask

Fees, confidentiality, timing and who we work with.

If your question is not here, call (682) 831-0900 and ask.

Is there a fee for candidates?
No. Candidates never pay Denali Recruiting anything. The practice pays a placement fee if and when you accept a position.
Will my current employer find out I am looking?
Not from us. Your résumé stays with the recruiter, we never contact your employer, and your name goes to a practice only after you approve that specific introduction. If a search involves a practice you would rather not be introduced to, tell us and it is excluded.
What happens after I send my résumé?
The recruiter reviews it and calls you for a confidential conversation about your goals, preferred locations, timing and compensation. If a current search fits, you hear about the practice then. If not, we keep your information on file, with your permission, and reach out when one does.
I am not actively looking. Should I still reach out?
Yes. Many of the best placements start with someone who was happy enough where they were but open to the right practice, location or partnership track. Tell us what would make you move and we will only call when something matches.
Do you work with residents, fellows and new graduates?
Yes. Practices hiring their next associate often want to meet fellows a year or more before they finish. Reach out early and we can start the conversation on your timeline.
Do you help with relocation and licensing?
We help you understand what a practice offers for relocation and what the state licensing timeline looks like, and we build that into the start date. The practice's own relocation terms are confirmed in the offer.
Can you help me read an offer or contract?
Yes. We walk through compensation structure, production terms, partnership language and non-competes with you so you know what you are signing. For legal questions, we will tell you when to bring in an attorney.
